I am a graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and Williams College undergrad (go Ephs!) I live with my husband, son, daughter, and two wonderful cats I adopted from GFAH. I joined GFAH in 2003 and am particularly interested in pain management (I am a member of the International Veterinary Pain Management Association), anesthesia, greyhound medicine, and caring for older pets. Cats and dogs make up the majority of patients I treat, but I also enjoy seeing wildlife.
I feel very lucky to have a job where I can help animals (and by extension, their people) feel better. I am fluent in French and can speak some Mandarin, which was one of my majors. In my spare time, I like to read (especially science fiction and fantasy), write letters, and ballroom dance.
