Dr. Leanne Kalinsky graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Psychology. She went on to graduate veterinary school at Virginia Tech in 2000. She is Fear Free Certified, ever vigilant to work with the animals to minimize their fear, stress, and anxiety both within a veterinary hospital setting and within their daily lives, understanding that part of preventative medicine is assuring minimal stress. She is a member of the Medical Reserve Corps in Virginia and received accolades for helping give vaccinations for Covid during the epidemic. She has also been noted as one of Northern Virginia’s top veterinarians. She is truly happy in her profession and has a passion not only for preventative medicine but internal medicine as well as soft tissue surgery. She lives in Purcellville with her partner of over 10 years, Dave, along with their 3 toy poodles, Monty, Odie and Beaumont (Beaumonster) and their 2 amazingly smart cats Omar and Liba.
